I love a deal

OK,
Isn't it so fun to go to a yard sale or to Frenchy's and get away with some great piece of clothing that you can't believe is so cheap/ I got so many cute clothes this weekend at yard sales and The Salvation Army for Sydney-- some Gap, Old Navy, Etc. that are just adorable and brand new and so cheap--- Makes me crazy... it is so much fun.
Anyone else out there love a deal, or does it give you the willies to buy what someone else once owned??? Just wondering!
Oh, and Hats off to Sandy for being so brave and remembering for us all those guys from the past-- too funny. I am a chicken I guess, but I loved remembering!!! thanks.

The Newsboys

Bad picture of the band

Bad picture of me

Do you all remember our long trips to Woodstock to see the Newsboys, and do you remember the Bible study we did based on their songs.... wow, were we crazy???!!! Ahh, great memories. Well, I wanted Sydney to join in on the fever. We went to their concert held in st. John, at Harbour station on Saturday night, and it was so great. Poor Sydney- I had a blanket and jacket all around her ears. I was so scared that it would be too loud for her little ears. But I am so glad I went- it was so great... they did some worship and it was just a thrill to watch the stadium with a couple of thousand young people worshipping God. and of course, I rocked on when they did "Breakfast song":) I went with my great friend Meredith. good times!!

SURVIVOR

oh no,
Looks like my reality shows are all failing me. First Chris gets voted off American Idol - that was a crime. and now Terry doesn't win survivor. I was so dissapointed. I wanted him to kick butt all the way to the end. I can't believe I stayed awake to watch- and now tonight they pushed back apprentice till 11pm. I only really watch 4 shows (sadly all reality ones). Is anyone else out there hooked on reality TV? Does that say something bad about me???

Happy Mother's Day

I love being a mom - i feel so blessed to be given this gift of helping to raise these beautiful, amazing souls. and to have had the most amazing mom myself is a real gift from God. These three are the lights of my life. They make me laugh, cry, worry, pray, sing, and love more than i thought was possible. I heard a quote today that I love - Motherhood is watching your heart walk around in someone else's body. It is so true. So happy mom's day to all out there.... not only to those who have kids, but also to you women out there who nurture other young souls - God is so good.

Back from Florida

sydney and mommy meet Micky mouse

well, we had such a wonderful time in the sunny south. We went down with Mom and Dad, and actually met Ray's parents down there. We drove 30 hours with three pre- schoolers and we had a wonderful trip -- the kids could not have been better. And boy, did they love it. The boys loved the water and Sydney loved the attention and is a lot plumper than when we left. Thought everyone would like to see some pics. I know auntie Susan ordered some new ones, so here they are.
