ode to blogging

Well, Heather Lee has inspired my post. My mom ran into her at the grocery store last week, and called to tell me she saw her and how they had chatted. My mom said.... "she is so sweet:, and on and on, and of course, I totally agreed, and told my mom that i keep in touch with her and saw pics of her beautiful boys on the blog, and how wonderful it is to hear about so many dear friends that I otherwise may not keep in touch with, so this post is to say that blogging is so great. and more, friends are so greaT...especially this small circle i keep in touch with. Your comments often make my day.
I have made a couple of resolutions this year, and one of them is to be a better friend.... and I guess Heather Lee talking to my mom, just reminded me of how important it is to be gracious and kind and sweet-- it goes a long way and it makes the world better....just with a few kind words you can make someone happy and kinder to someone else. so thanks, friends!

more Christmas out-takes and a picture for mom

Mom, I couldn't resist. I bought that dress at Walmart... I am so glad. I think it is so cute on her!!

Santa Claus is coming to town

Hey everyone,
Here are some pics of the town Santa Claus parade- very cold, but very fun.... the boys were so excited to see the jolly old guy. And I thought I would post some out -takes of our Christmas picture for our cards this year. I haven't given up yet, but I am getting close. Seems we can not possibly all look good in the same picture. I plan to try again in the next day or two.
I am feeling more and more busy with Christmas preparation, but I enjoy it all so much. Will I always feel like a child? -- will I always be so excited? In the middle of all the Christmas prep. and fun, Luke is also asking lots of questions about God. He is keeping me on my toes, and Ray and I are trying to make an effort to stop what we are doing-(though sometimes that is so hard), and try to really answer his questions thoughtfully. Well, Hope everyone is enjoying this time of the year. Blessings, Kim

$4.00 Drinks

So, I have a new addiction. Chai latte's-- Erin introduced me to them while we were in Boston. Are there others out there? Are there great hot drinks you are willing to pay 4 bucks for??

Lost in Boston

Me at the original cheers!
Harvard- we felt smarter just being there!

Erin And I
What a fun time we had. Erin, my great friend, flew out from Kitchener and we decided to do a road trip to Boston. We had so much fun and saw some great sights. Here are a few pics- some of the highlights.

Our Beauty

Sydney is the happiest baby ever. We are all in love with her. She has such a love for her big bros already. She watches every thing they do and they are so cute as they talk to her in a high voice and tell her what a cute little girl she is. They all make me so happy. Her latest accomplishments- she waves bye-bye, gives kisses-sings along with music-and is very social. She smiles whenever she gets someones eye.... and it is a whole face smile.... she lights up a room. Our beauty at 7months!

Halloween

Our little lovebug, our monkey after the costume came off, and our Buzz Lightyear. We had so much fun. I took some great pics with the 35mm camera, then thought of the blog, so these are for you. Sorry they are not the greatest....
