ode to blogging

Well, Heather Lee has inspired my post. My mom ran into her at the grocery store last week, and called to tell me she saw her and how they had chatted. My mom said.... "she is so sweet:, and on and on, and of course, I totally agreed, and told my mom that i keep in touch with her and saw pics of her beautiful boys on the blog, and how wonderful it is to hear about so many dear friends that I otherwise may not keep in touch with, so this post is to say that blogging is so great. and more, friends are so greaT...especially this small circle i keep in touch with. Your comments often make my day.
I have made a couple of resolutions this year, and one of them is to be a better friend.... and I guess Heather Lee talking to my mom, just reminded me of how important it is to be gracious and kind and sweet-- it goes a long way and it makes the world better....just with a few kind words you can make someone happy and kinder to someone else. so thanks, friends!

Awww that's so sweet and a great way to start off the new year. Being dedicated to those you love and care about does go along way. We can always better ourselves and those arouund us by being a better friend and doing something for others.

Say hello to Donna and Winston , Leah and the gang for me. It's been too long since I've seen any of those guys even though I do read up on blogs. They can never replace the friendly faces in person but it's better than nothing.

Martin and I hope that your holiday with family and friends was a wonderful one. All the best to you and your family for 2007.

Oh Kim, you have positively always been an inspiration to me. You are definitely one person that ALWAYS has a smile on and seems to care about anything. You are right, it makes a huge impact to those around you. Thank you for being such a beautiful, bright light.

hey Kim, I tried to call you on Christmas day but could not get you. I figured you would of been home. Boy I hope God moves us home or closer some day but happy to be serving Him here in the mean time. I think I will try to call today. Take care.

Aww...thanks, Kim. I meant to tell you I ran into them. I got as far as Stephen's blog and stopped..lol. 2 kids can really distract you, I guess.

It was wonderful to see your parents and like I said to Steve, they look fantastic!

I am with Helen. I think we could all take a little of your personality and it certainly would make us better friends...well at least I could use a little of it..lol.

Awww..you're such a sweetheart, Kim. You always were. You have this special way of making people feel like they are important - and what they have to say is important. I mean that!! I love blogging as a way to keep in touch now too!! I love seeing pictures of your beautiful family!!

    Ohhh,
you girls are all so sweet... I wasn't looking for compliments... but they sure are nice to hear--- I certainly find myself busy with the kids though, and by times find myself thinking so much about us and my family, that I don't take the time I should for my friends. But I am going to try better in 2007.
and I certainly need more of God's love... if you could see my heart some days... yuck. anyway, you are all sweeties. hugs, k

I hear ya on that one. I really get wrapped up in just everyday things, I forget to take time for my friends.

Funny, Jenn and I had a similar convo like 2 months ago. I said it was my early resolution, to be a better friend. I am not sure I have done it yet. Sad..

Yes you have, Heather! You are such a great friend. And so you are you Kim. Just because we are busy raising children doesn't mean we aren't good friends. It just means we're 'busy' friends. LOL Love ya all!!
